• So much weekend activity to recap.  – Steve Lutz landed his replacement for Abou Ousmane – Mike Gundy’s top quotes after the Orange-Black game + Tyler Waldrep looked at the quarterback race after the game – OSU landed a commitment from a starting defensive lineman in the SEC – Cowboy guards Arturo Dean and Khalil Brantley entered the transfer portal

• “Surprise” report out that Cowboy Football tickets are selling well after an unusual down year (TulsaWorld) • While this update was from Friday, it still brings up an interesting point: Steve Lutz might have done enough with what he showed last season and what he’s done in the portal to bring some excitement.  Note: since then, the Pokes added their starting-caliber center over the weekend.

OSU currently ranks No. 7 in On3’s team transfer portal rankings. The only Big 12 Conference school ahead of the Cowboys is Baylor (fifth); the closest teams after them are Iowa State (24th), Houston (26th) and Texas Tech (31st). OSU? No. 7? The same program that former coach Mike Boynton said had serious name, image and likeness problems? Not too shabby for Lutz after his first season in Stillwater. [O’Colly]
