The Cowboys have been doing well in the portal, and they’re also doing well recruiting the high school ranks.

Jason Bradford, a four-star defensive back from Temple, Texas, committed to Oklahoma State on Monday. 247Sports lists Bradford as the No. 218 player in the 2026 class, marking him as the No. 21 corner and the No. 32 player from the Lone Star State. He chose OSU over offers from Houston, TCU, Kansas, Arizona State, Texas Tech and others. His commitment comes after an official visit to Stillwater last week.

He is a big-bodied DB, coming in at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. According to MaxPreps, Bradford accounted for four interceptions, nine pass breakups, 37 tackles and three tackles for loss as a junior at Temple.

His Wildcats went 7-4 with an appearance in the Texas 6A-DI state playoffs.

Bradford becomes the ninth commitment in the Cowboys’ 2026 class. That class now ranks 24th nationally and fifth in the Big 12. Bradford is the third defensive back to join the fold, adding to safety Carter Langenderger (Owasso) and corner Josiah Vilmael (Richmond, Texas). Bradford is the Cowboys’ second four-star prospect to commit for 2026, joining running back Kaydin Jones (Jenks).
