Owasso Defensive Back Carter Langenderfer Commits to Oklahoma State
OSU adds a fourth in-state pledge in its 2026 class.
Another in-state rising senior has decided he wants to play his college ball in Stillwater.
Class of 2026 Owasso defensive back Carter Langenderfer announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Sunday. He took an official visit to OSU this weekend. Langenderfer picked up his OSU offer in January and chose the Pokes over offers from Iowa State, Tulsa, Yale, Air Force, Army and others.

A 6-foot-2, 190-pound DB, Langenderfer was on an Owasso team that went 12-1 this past season, falling to Bixby by a point in the state title game.
The major recruiting services don’t have Langenderfer ranked yet, but that should change soon.
Langenderfer is the sixth commitment in the Cowboys’ 2026 class and the fourth to come from within the state’s borders. He joins fellow Okies KD Jones (Jenks), Trey McGlothlin (Bixby) and Aiden Martin (Berryhill), as well as out-of-state edge rushers Landon Bland (Carthage, Missouri) and Jaylen Stewart (Pearland, Texas). OSU’s class ranks 34th nationally and seventh in the Big 12 in the early parts of the cycle.
