Landen Anderson, a top 10 player from Oklahoma in the 2026 class, is back on the market after a visit to Stillwater.

Anderson, a defensive lineman out of Edmond Santa Fe, had been committed to Kansas since January, but has re-opened his recruitment after visiting Stillwater this past weekend. On3’s Industry Ranking lists Anderson as the No. 495 player in the 2026 class, making him the No. 6 player from the state of Oklahoma.

The Cowboys love a defender from Santa Fe. It’s the high school OSU got Calvin Bundage, Trace Ford and Collin Oliver from in the not-too-distant past. Anderson played on the edge, in the interior and even at tight end for the Wolves this season. Listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pound, Anderson was credited 83 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and a sack in nine games as a junior, according to MaxPreps. He also caught a pass for 25 yards.

Oklahoma State offered Anderson back in January, 20 days before he pledged to the Jayhawks. He also has offers to Baylor, Arizona State, Iowa State, Maryland, UNLV, Tulsa and Houston. According to 247Sports, Anderson has already taken visit to Arizona State, Kansas and most recently OSU. He also has a visit scheduled to Waco at the end of this week.

Picking up Anderson would be great timing for the Cowboys, who recently lost defensive line commit Jaylen Stewart, who flipped from OSU to Illinois this past weekend. That flip bumped OSU’s class down to No. 39 in 247Sports’ team rankings, but an Anderson commitment would shoot the Cowboys right back up to No. 34 — a spot ahead of Texas Tech.
