• The PGA’s Travelers Championship is a family affair – while Viktor Hovland has fallen back four strokes into seventh, Austin Eckroat leads with Wyndham Clark trailing close by (CBS Sports)

• The top 2027 wrestler in high school has OSU in his final group (PFB)

• CBS Sports looked at Power Four teams left out of bowl games last season – they have the Pokes in the “flip a coin (at a chance of returning)” category. 

The Cowboys have never missed a bowl in consecutive seasons under Gundy, and they’ll have to sweat in order to keep that streak alive. There is not a proven quarterback, and the nonconference slate features a death march to Oregon. If anyone else were on the sideline, Oklahoma State would be in the “longshots” category. But Gundy has made a career of surpassing expectations. [CBS Sports]

• Doug Gottlieb made comments about female officials yesterday that raised some eyebrows (HCS)

• Cowboy Baseball is bringing in a player from Clemson with a familiar last name. 

Clemson OF/LHP Tyler Paul “TP” Wentworth has announced his commitment on his Instagram to #OkState.

In his lone season with the Tigers, Wentworth appeared in 11 games as a pitcher with 9.0 IP for 8.00 ERA.
