Daily Bullets (June 25): Ranking Boone Pickens Stadium
I’m headed out of the country for a couple of weeks for a work trip, grateful to Marshall and the crew for covering for me – see ya’ll in July!
OSU Bullets
• EA Sports video game has Boone Pickens Stadium in their 25 “hardest places to play” (PFB)
• Cowgirl Basketball landed a shooter from the 2026 class yesterday (PFB)
• The Cowboys don’t have a standout freshman coming in, but they’ve got a solid group of underclassmen coming in:
Although the Cowboys might not have a lock one-and-done type freshman coming in, their three-man class of Ryan Crotty, Ben Ahmed and Mekhi Ragland is a solid group. Crotty is ranked the highest in 247s list. He’s the No. 81 player in the class, which makes him the No. 15 freshman in the Big 12 for the upcoming season. Ahmed isn’t too far behind at No. 105 nationally and No. 19 in the Big 12. [PFB]
• NCAA changes rules on roster sizes and falls in line with the House settlement (CBS Sports)

Held Denver to 93 points and forced 23 turnovers
Held Minnesota to 94 points and forced 21 turnovers
Held Indiana to 91 points and forced 23 turnovers
All-time great defense that was at its best in the biggest moments.
