OSU Bullets
• Congrats to Mike Boynton (great interview with him here) – his Michigan Wolverine squad takes on UConn for a national title tonight (IO)
• Scores from the weekend – baseball climbed back to .500 in conference play, completing a sweep of Cincinnati, while the men’s golfers finished second at the Haskins Award Invitational (OKState.com)
• ICYMI – the Pokes landed their first commitment for the 2027 football recruiting class, and it’s a dual-threat quarterback from Texas. This comment on throwing on the move feels like a staple of Eric Morris quarterbacks:
“A proverbial box checker as a three-sport standout (baseball, track and field) with significant passing volume, (Carson) White got better and better as the day progressed. He threw effectively early in the more pocket-oriented drills, but shined in any station that asked for throwing on the move. White held his own in January during Navy All-American Bowl practices, but Sunday’s camp provided a more concentrated look at his passing prowess, and we came away impressed. [GoPokes 247 $$$]

• Awesome start for Nolan McLean:
Nolan McLean through his first 9 MLB starts: 2.21 ERA, 65 Ks The only other pitchers to reach those marks since ER became an official statistic in 1913: Paul Skenes (2024) Orel Hershiser (1984) Jose DeLeon (1983) Fernando Valenzuela (1981) pic.twitter.com/wb3KSRzVQq

• Thank goodness – Thunder’s deal with FanDuel will expire after this season • Your attention isn’t failing, your environment is (faith-based) Gosh, I can’t wait to ask super enthused about this when friends from out of town visit Tulsa:
Tulsa carved 2,847 rumble strips into a bridge on Route 66.
Drive eastbound at exactly 35 mph and your tires play “This Land Is Your Land.” Mechanical. No speakers. Cost: $90,000 for 19 seconds of music. About $4,700 per second. Guthrie was born about 75 miles away in… pic.twitter.com/xYjY2G891N — Jake (@JakeCan72) April 4, 2026
