The Cowboys are a finalist for a bruising offensive lineman from SEC Country.

Tristan Hardin-Roberts announced Tuesday that he is down to four schools: Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Tulane and USF. He’ll make his college decision on Monday.

Out of Mobile, Alabama, Hardin-Roberts is listed at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds. He’s still waiting on a ranking by the major recruiting services, but also held offers from the likes of Florida State, Memphis and others.

He’s fresh off his official visit to Stillwater from this past weekend. He’s also taken officials to West Virginia and Tulane and has one scheduled to USF this weekend.

“It’s been great,” Hardin-Roberts said in a video he posted from his OSU visit. “I’m having a great time. It’s been eye-opening. I ain’t expect for Oklahoma State to be all this. It’s a great experience.”

OSU offensive line coach Cody Crill was down at Blount High School in Alabama for Hardin-Roberts’ spring game in May, where Crill extended an offer from OSU. Less that two weeks later, Hardin-Roberts had set up that aforementioned official visit.

Hardin-Roberts fits the multisport athlete mold that OSU coach Eric Morris has been so fond of, as Hardin-Roberts also plays basketball and throws shot on the track team. MileSplit credits him with a 40-0.5 shot throw.

The Cowboys have an nine-man 2027 recruiting class as of writing. Crill is off to a solid start, as three of those pledges are offensive linemen in Sonny Mullen (TX), Chase Clark (IL) and Jake Baker (TN).
