Is Another High Profile Transfer headed to Stillwater?
Former five-star defensive back Priest Willis has plans to visit Stillwater on Monday.
Mike Gundy’s recent success with transfers is no longer a secret with his booming success over the last few years. In the past two years alone, Gundy has produced two NFL quality defensive backs in Tyler Patmon (Dallas) and Josh Furman (Denver).
OSU recently landed another transfer who is eligible this season: cornerback Michael Hunter, who transferred from Indiana; while another defensive back, Derrick Moncrief, has transferred from Auburn and joined the fold in Stillwater recently as well, eligible to play next season.
Reports are now that former five-star recruit and UCLA defensive back Priest Willis will be making a visit to Stillwater on Monday, and will likely be making a decision between Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.
Willis appears to favor A&M, but it appears OSU will have a chance to swoon him on Monday before he makes his final decision.
In this situation, OSU presents a great opportunity for Willis. Not only can the Cowboys advertise playing time in an up-and-coming secondary, but Glenn Spencer can flash an excellent resume with his recent transfer success. Something that Willis will most definitely hear about during his visit.
