James Washington: ‘That’s the Loudest the Crowd Has Been’
James Washington was one of the heroes on Saturday in Stillwater. He had five for 184 and three touchdowns, including one ludicrous grab in the second half. He paid his respect to the Boone Pickens Stadium Crowd when asked if that was the loudest crowd he’s played in front of.
“I’d say so,” said Washington. “That’s probably the loudest the crowd has ever been since I’ve been playing here. When you have a crowd like that, it helps out a lot.”
He also noted that OSU is taking its business one day at a time these days.
“I really try not to look at it like we’re 9-0. We got Iowa State next week. We have to take them the exact same way as TCU.”
Personally, I hope OSU treats them like they’re 2004 USC.
