Oklahoma State Offers Alabama Quarterback Commit
Oklahoma State has extended an offer to 2017 quarterback Mac Jones, a 6-foot-2 pro-style prospect from Jacksonville, Florida.

Jones, as you can see from his profile photo, is currently committed to Alabama. Since committing to the Crimson Tide in June, there has been no activity in regards to schools making offers to the four-star prospect.
But of note, Alabama is loaded at quarterback.
Nick Saban just rode his freshman quarterback to the College Football Playoff this season. And he also has a five-star dual-threat prospect, Tua Tagovailoa, committed in 2017. He announced this week that he was shutting down his recruitment, and will enroll early in Tuscaloosa.
So, where does that leave Mac Jones?
Several quarterbacks transferred this season. So the spot, as it appears now, is still available for Jones. But OSU apparently sees an opportunity to try and coax him away, especially with the position being loaded for them.
Maybe it’s a shot in the dark.
Whatever the case, it seems evident OSU is trying to take 2 QB’s in the class to go alongside Jelani Woods.
