WATCH: OSU RB Signee JD King Lifts Heavier Weight Than You
Oklahoma State bound running back JD King of Fitzgerald, Georgia, is more than just an all-state tailback. He’s also an individual state weightlifting champion, earning the honor in part because of a monstrous performance from the clean with a 370-pound haul. Check this out:

This, my friends, is good news.
With Chris Carson, Barry J., and Rennie Childs all onward and upward, the Cowboys will likely have no choice but to rely on youngsters to fill the void at running back in some capacity next season.
While a state champion weight lifter doesn’t make him a front-runner to earn a ton of carries behind Justice Hill, being able to throw around a bar and weight that is heavier than my Toyota Avalon certainly doesn’t hurt his chances in becoming an impact player.
