Oklahoma State’s 2016 Alamo Bowl Rings Have 11-2 Record Engraved
Mike Gundy gave an all-time #wellactually recently when he rubber stamped Oklahoma State’s Alamo Bowl rings to read 11-2 even though Oklahoma State lost to OU, Baylor and *******Central Michigan********* during the regular season.
Gundy’s crusade to count the CMU loss as a win lasted throughout the regular season and into the CFB Playoff conversation. It was emblazoned forever into the Alamo Bowl rings which is both hilarious and awesome.

“In my opinion, our conference should take charge and stick up for us and say, ‘You know what? We’re going to get this right,’” Gundy said according to the O’Colly last year. “Or there’s gotta be some lawyer out there who’s willing to make a name for himself. He ought to be all over it for a flat fee.
“If I don’t try to do what’s right for my players, I wouldn’t want to play for me,” Gundy added. “They can’t do anything. I don’t have a law degree so I can’t do anything. I got a C in political science.”
“It’s the best I can do, but in the end, they should just give both teams the win, and the officials or whoever’s in charge should say, ‘It’s a massive screw-up,’ and give both teams the win. I don’t think that taking it away from Central Michigan is the answer, but it’s a win-win.”
He can order his boys some proper rings, though, which it appears is exactly what he did.
