1. Oklahoman with the full story on Williams – I’m not going to quote what was reported in the article on here because it’s fairly graphic but I encourage you to read it. The most damning part of the article though, was this, “the second woman reported being sexually assaulted by several members of the OSU basketball team.” Also Williams’ hearing isn’t until the second week in March so he’s effectively done for 2011. (News OK)

2. Andy Katz on OSU’s big week – A loss would’ve dropped the Cowboys to 2-6 in the Big 12 and all but eliminated them from at-large consideration. So this one was huge for OSU.” (ESPN)

3. Sittler with a great assessment of the Ford/Williams situation – “No one wants to see a replay of the Duke lacrosse case in 2007. All charges of sexual assault were eventually dropped against three players, but not before they had been crucified in the media and convicted in the court of public opinion.” (Tulsa World)

4. Fox with more fallout from the Williams rape charges – It feels like all of OSU’s headlines have something to do with “handling the matter internally.” Or maybe those are just the ones I remember. (Fox Sports)

5. Ubben grades Oklahoma State – The Nebraska game still kills me, OSU should not have lost that game. Interesting take that Ubben thought OSU was “the most consistent team in the Big 12.” I think that says a lot more about the coaching staff than it does the players. (ESPN)

6. Matt Hinton makes a not-very-convincing case for A&M winning the Big 12 – “Oklahoma most certainly is not expecting a down year in 2011; quite the opposite. But Texas is facing another transition year with an entirely revamped coaching staff and lingering questions marks on offense, particularly at quarterback. Nebraska is out of the conference altogether, bound for the Big Ten. Oklahoma State is losing the architect of the conference’s most prolific offense, Dana Holgorsen, bound for West Virginia.” I think the correct point is, “OSU plays A&M in College Station this year” not “OSU doesn’t have one of its old coaches.” (Dr. Saturday)

“Not guilty.” -Darrell Williams

Well I’m not sure that this is “don’t want to miss” material but here’s the document of charges against Darrell Williams.

Check back later today for our first Bracketology (Cowboy Edition) of 2011.
