Amen Ogbongbemiga Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Amen picks up honors despite the loss.
It can’t be too often a player on a losing team wins Defensive Player of the Week honors, but Amen Ogbongbemiga was just that good Sautrday.
In Oklahoma State’s 29-22 loss to TCU on Saturday, Ogbongbemiga set a school record with three forced fumbles, two of which he recovered himself.
Ogbongbemiga also had a game-high 12 tackles Saturday, including a tackle for loss. On the year, he has a team-high 74 total tackles, five tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Ogbongbemiga and the Cowboys will wrap up their regular season Saturday in Waco against Baylor.
