Braylin Presley Commits to Oklahoma State

The Presley family is electric.

One of the most dynamic players Oklahoma high school football has seen in a while is headed to Stillwater.

Braylin Presley, younger brother of Oklahoma State receiver Brennan Presley, committed to OSU on Wednesday, picking the Pokes over offers from Baylor, Kansas, Missouri, West Virginia, Louisville, Nebraska, Texas Tech and others.

In the past two seasons at Bixby High School, Presley ran for 3,130 yards and 46 touchdowns. In that span he also has 948 receiving yards and another 16 scores.

There is an old cliché about guys being able to make you miss in a phone booth, but Presley might actually be able to do that. He has an uncanny mixture of shiftiness and speed that has left Oklahoma high school defenders tackling air for the past two seasons.

Bixby is 24-0 the past two seasons, and in their 11-0 march to another state title last season, the Spartans’ average margin of victory was 33 points.

Presley primarily plays running back for the Spartans, but he probably projects more as a slot receiver at the collegiate level.

Presley, like his brother, is underrated because of his size (5-8, 170 pounds), but the younger Presley has still managed his way up to No. 430 on the composite rankings.

His commitment moves OSU’s 2022 class from No. 19 to No. 13 nationally (one spot behind Alabama), ranking behind only Oklahoma (No. 8) and Texas (No. 9) in the Big 12.

Presley is OSU’s ninth commitment in the class and the fourth who is from Oklahoma, joining CJ Brown (Beggs), Mason Gilkey (Pawhuska) and Gabe Brown (Stillwater).
