Bryce Thompson Cuts List to Seven, Includes Oklahoma State
OSU still in the mix for the state’s top-rated hooper.
To no one’s surprise, Oklahoma State made Bryce Thompson’s cut, but now things get interesting.
The Bryce Thompson sweepstakes are down to only Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina and Michigan State, the five-star prospect announced on Twitter. Thompson, a 6-foot-5 combo guard out of Booker T. Washington, is the 18th-ranked prospect in the 2020 class.
So grateful for this opportunity. Thanks to all the coaches that have recruited me thus far. Another step closer.

Because OSU, OU and Arkansas are so close to home, Thompson will not visit any of the three on an official basis, according to Rivals’ Corey Evans. Thompson will, though, make official visits to the other four schools, starting with Texas this weekend.
Despite not taking an official visit to OSU, Thompson is expected to be in Stillwater on an unofficial basis in late September, according to Evans.
Thompson is the first five-star prospect from Oklahoma since Trae Young in 2017.
