A lot of things didn’t go Cade Cunningham’s way last week, but it’s all relative.

Cunningham claimed his fourth Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honor on Monday. He joins Marcus Smart, Maurice Baker and Mario Boggan as the only OSU players to ever win four Big 12 weekly awards in the same season.

Cunningham’s final moments in OSU’s loss to TCU on Wednesday have been questioned, but before that, Cunningham scored 19 points, all coming in the second half.

Then in OSU’s upset against then-No. 6 Texas, Cunningham dropped another 19 points to go with eight rebounds.

On the year, Cunningham leads the Big 12 with 18.2 points a game. He is also averaging 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks a game.

Cunningham starts his attempt at a fifth weekly honor on Monday as Oklahoma State travels to Kansas to face the Jayhawks.
