Chris Carson Scores TD in Return against Green Bay Packers
Carson shakes off the rust and finds pay dirt.
One week after a sitting out with a hip injury, Chris Carson showed he was feeling just fine as he slid into the end zone for his third touchdown of the season.
Carson did have to shake a little rust off early as he fumbled on the game’s first play. It was recovered by the Packers, but that was only the second fumble of his NFL career. Carson never fumbled at Oklahoma State.
The former OSU back has 47 yards on 10 first-half carries as Seattle trails Green Bay 21-17 during halftime of the Thursday Night game in Seattle.
Carson is the Seahawks’ leading rusher coming in with 497 yards in seven games on 4.5 yards per carry. His 71 yards per game is the highest of any Seahawk since Marshawn Lynch’s 2014 campaign.
