The Big 12 had a full slate of games Saturday as the contenders for the Big 12 title game are getting a little more defined.

We have recaps of Oklahoma State’s 20-18 victory over Kansas State all over the site, but here are quick looks into all the other games in the Big 12 this weekend.

Texas 17, West Virginia 13

In Stillwater last weekend, a soft pass interference call helped the Longhorns upset the Pokes, and Saturday, a handsy non-PI call helped Texas escape the Mountianeers.

With less than five minutes to go, West Virginia was faced with a 4th-and-1 on Texas’ 8-yard line. Jarret Doege threw a pass to Ali Jennings in the end zone. Jennings jumped with Texas defensive back Chris Brown wrapped around Jennings before the ball got to him, but there was no call.

Texas got another strong outing from freshman running back Bijan Robinson, who ran for 113 yards on just 12 carries.

Sam Ehlinger finished the day 15-for-31 with 184 yards and two touchdowns.

Oklahoma 62, Kansas 9

The Jayhawks are now 0-7, and they might still be 0-7 if they played in the Sun Belt Conference.

The Sooners had six rushing touchdowns Saturday with five coming from unique rushers. Rhamondre Stevenson was the only OU player to run for two, running for 104 yards on only 11 carries.

Spencer Rattler ran for a score and threw for another, finishing with 212 passing yards.

The Jayhawks are worst in the Big 12 in scoring offense and scoring defense. They are averaging 264 yards of total offense a game, worst in the league. They are allowing 469 yards of total offense a game, worst in the league.

Iowa State 38, Baylor 31

The Cyclones entered Saturday as the No. 17 team in the country but had quite the scare against Baylor.

Brock Purdy threw three first-half interceptions, but Purdy came back in the second half and threw three touchdowns.

Breece Hall was Iowa State’s most deadly weapon Saturday. The sophomore ran for 133 yards and two scores, and he had a receiving touchdown.

The Bears are down to 1-4 in Charlie Brewer’s senior season.

TCU 34, Texas Tech 18

TCU quarterback Max Duggan lit up the Red Raiders but not how you would think.

Duggan threw for only 73 yards, but he ran for 154 yards and three touchdowns.

Texas Tech’s offensive line had a hard time protecting Henry Colombi, as the Utah State transfer quarterback was sacked five times.
