Bullets Rundown

• Rudolph has arrived
• How CFB is dealing with the crisis
• Greg Brown chatter

OSU Bullets

• This is a pretty thoughtful take – Mason Rudolph has arrived at his appropriate capacity in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers don’t need a quarterback. They already have one in Ben Roethlisberger. They don’t need a backup quarterback, as they already have one in Mason Rudolph and they are clearly committed to him. [NewsOK]

A new ceiling might be the next Chase Daniel – journeymen who racks up three to five contracts as a backup.

• This 247 piece on how college football players are dealing was good

• It seems like a longshot at this point but here’s some chatter about OSU and Greg Brown.

What if the Cowboys are secretly in on five-star power forward Greg Brown III? The Austin Vandegrift (Texas) star has narrowed his choices down to five — Auburn, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan and Texas — and OSU is not one of them. He plans to commit Friday. [NewsOK]

Keyword there being “secretly” and not being listed in his final five is certainly another indicator that’s not in the affirmative. But who knows?

• First school I’ve seen say they’ll be back in person for the fall:

• Why Cowboy Baseball coach Josh Holliday loves sports

• Our guy Seth chatted with the incoming No. 1 wrestling recruit in the country who’s coming to OSU

• I’m enjoying this film room series – brief bits with Boynton and Co. on the new recruits. Here’s one on Donovan Williams:

Non-OSU Bullets

• If you’re looking for a good deed, five-staring your favorite restaurants and buying gift cards from them is nice. Also, five-staring your favorite pod!
• Some faith-based angles but a solid take here: it’s not often we get a break from our habits and a chance to choose which ones we’ll pick back up

I thought this quote on the motivation behind procrastination was insightful:

We often procrastinate because we assume that as soon as we start that thing we’re putting off, we will experience bad feelings. [Fast Co.]
