OSU Bullets
• A couple of players OSU came across were highlighted through fall camp – an offensive lineman from the Pacific Northwest and a Miami defensive back transfer (PFB)
• Drew Mestemaker listed as a player who can really bump his draft stock after transferring (CBS Sports)
• This was insightful – ESPN’s SP+ analytics system has the Pokes rising more than anybody else between 2025 and 2026, rising from what would be 119th place to 39th place:
…(A)fter stellar 20-year SP+ averages, OSU suddenly collapsed at the end of the Mike Gundy era and fielded its worst team in more than 60 years last season.
A coaching change (to North Texas’ Eric Morris) and a major production boost on both sides of the ball have the Cowboys likely to rebound pretty significantly.
