Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.

OSU Bullets

Kind of an interesting comment on perspective from other fanbases on Oklahoma State – namely that OSU may be disliked for ‘the fact that OSU is now arguably the team to beat in the league without a true “blue blood” and the Pokes may begin taking on some of that “unlikable” factor.’ (HCS)

• Matt Holliday, an MLB all-star and a blue chip quarterback prospect, was at one time committed to play football for Oklahoma State. Could it be even more depressing if he has two sons that commit to Oklahoma State to play baseball and end up going first overall in the MLB draft? (USA Today)

• Big 12 football is going to be a blast.

Knowing the Big 12, one of the perceived bottom-half teams is bound to sneak up on some folks and wreak havoc this year. Every game day in this conference will bring the chaos. Pure college football bliss. [CBS Sports]

OSU now has its largest enrollment number overall and largest freshman class in history (OKState.com)

• A prominent voice in sports talk intrigued by Alan Bowman is fun /
– side note in case you’ve forgotten: when Texas Tech beat OSU in 2018 (the year of Corndog), Alan Bowman exploded on the Pokes in that game for the Red Raiders.
