OSU Bullets

“Nothing imminent” on Big 12 expansion – no need to expand until Texas and OU leave

• ICYMI Friday – reports that the Big 12 is looking at adding BYU.

What are the odds OSU can loop in an expectation that they would only play BYU in late November (ski season)? Sign me up for that trip.

How much offensive progression can be expected this fall? It really depends on what the quarterback can handle.

If they run back the 2020 offense with a better line, more savvy Sanders, but no Tylan Wallace they probably won’t love the results. Mix in the ability to distribute the ball to more receivers with some progression passing and they could improve in a meaningful fashion.

Reading between the lines, spreading the ball out and changing it up from last year sure seems to be the plan.

“I want to spread this thing out,” (offensive coordinator Kasey) Dunn said. “I want to get the ball out and moving. I want to put us in a position to give our playmakers the football. Maybe we take more chances, maybe we spread that thing out a little bit more…”

Best-case/worst-case scenarios for OSU football games this year

Good that the TulsaWorld pointed this out – Louisiana natives Tay Martin and Caleb Etienne will have their minds on their families with Hurricane Ida making landfall

• The Pokes came in No. 2 in the Coaches Poll for golf this year

• Mike Boynton “gets it”, gosh he’s the best.

• Barry Sanders’ statue unveiling and helicopter flyover at the TCU game – should be fun:
