Daily Bullets (Jan. 27): Developing Spencer Sanders, Remember the Ten Tonight
With the passing of Kobe and Remember the Ten tonight, it’s a somber day in the sports world.
On Monday night we will Remember The Ten. There's nothing more important.

• So what’s next for the development of Spencer Sanders? Mike Gundy has a solid idea.
“His ability to rush the ball and make plays on his own, I think, at times hurt him because it kept him from progressing through his routes like he should,” Gundy said. “He’s always been able to take off and make plays.
“We’re going to work extremely hard in the offseason to influence him to progress and stay in the pocket more, and then let his feet make a play if he has to at the last second. I think that will give him a better chance.” [TulsaWorld]
That’s the tough part about being a dual-threat right? Why struggle to throw when you can run successfully.
• 22 assists is a terrific trend – creators on offense are what this team so sorely lacks, very minimal capability to help others get in scoring position. If this can get the ball moving in the right ways, look out Jayhawks.

• In this solid Cowboy Baseball preview, a summary of the Pokes under Josh Holliday is found.
This team will rely heavily on newcomers, both freshmen and transfers. How the new faces adapt to the rigors of Big 12 competition will be crucial, but it is encouraging that (Kaden) Polcovich and (Jake) Thompson are coming off standout summers, and (Brock) Mathis has already been through the SEC grind.
Under Holliday’s leadership, Oklahoma State never fails to get better as the season progresses, and this fine coaching staff figures to get the most out of their youngsters by the time May and June roll around. [NCAA]
• After this move (hiring an old OSU guy), seeing them retain their ace recruiter and pulling one away from LSU, I’m not tickled about competing with Baylor over the next few years. Larry Fedora as OC was slick too.

• It’s hard to understand why revenue dropped in 2018-19. Was their more excitement for senior year Cornelius than freshman Spencer Sanders?
OSU's 2018 revenue was $88 million, which actually decreased from $92 million in 2017. https://t.co/qIt28lFhOe
