Daily Bullets (June 10): Fantasy Drafting Mike Gundy Players, Cowboys Added Two Commits Over the Weekend
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• This is offseason sports blogging at its peak – fantasy drafting the best players of the Mike Gundy era (PFB)
• ICYMI – the Cowboys took verbal commitments from a tight end and a defensive lineman from Texas over the weekend (PFB + PFB)
• Quarterbacks hitting the transfer portal have dropped from last year (180) to this year (152), Mike Gundy offers an explanation:
“I do think there’s a little bit of a swing the other way, now, with what’s going on in the portal,” Gundy said. “I think some people realize there’s a danger in taking that jump and landing somewhere and never playing.“So it’s a decision that they or somebody would make in their family. ‘It’s worth the risk of doing this,’ or ‘am I better off staying here and trying to develop and get my chance here?’ I think that would be a fair answer for what’s going on.” [TulsaWorld]
