• After his head coach took an NBA gig, Mike Boynton was (logically) named the interim coach for Michigan yesterday – can you imagine what he could do with Michigan recruiting? (PFB)

What a year.

Jacie Hoyt added another big to her roster yesterday (PFB)

Solid summary here of what happened with Cowboy wrestlers over the weekend, Pokes were working to qualify for the US World Team:

Former Cowboy wrestler Wyatt Hendrickson won the 125 kg weight class at Final X, earning a spot on Team USA for the second consecutive year. Former Cowboy Dustin Plott and reigning NCAA Champion Landon Robideau each won their true-third matches and will be part of the national team. Jax Forrest narrowly missed out on a team spot. What a move by the head Cowgirl in landing her star center, Audie Crooks:

The All-American made up her mind to become a Cowgirl after Oklahoma State coach Jacie Hoyt took what Crooks described as a “unique” recruiting tactic halfway through her visit. “She had put together some clips and it was like a lowlight reel,” Crooks said. “… It was just a reel of missed layups.” [PFB]

• Carson had some solid commentary on Wyndham Clark’s place in Cowboy fandom – you can see Clark’s thoughts on the situation here:
