OSU Bullets

• Cowgirl Softball finished as a top-fifteen seed nationally, will host a regional this weekend in Stillwater (PFB)

• Pokes couldn’t rally to take out the Sun Devils, losing in Tempe, 7-11 (OKState.com)

Rickie Fowler came close to getting a W after losing his commanding lead through three rounds:

Fowler shot 65 on Sunday after a closing bogey, which left him two strokes behind the champion, Kristoffer Reitan. Fowler finished at 13-under 271 (74-63-69-65), an impressive finish after struggling with a sinus infection and fever in the first round.
Fowler’s score of 16-under 197 over the final three rounds at Quail Hollow was the best in the field by six shots. [PGATour.com]

• Thoughts on why Big 12 teams are turning down the loan from the Big 12’s partnership (X)
