• This was a wonderful piece on Blake Jarwin’s development with the Dallas Cowboys and one part in particular highlights his special ability in the NFL today.

Jarwin’s YAC ability isn’t due to magical creativity and elusiveness in the open field. Instead, Jarwin uses the George Kittle method in that he attacks north-south immediately, builds momentum and challenges much smaller defensive backs to stop him. [Dallas Morning News]

Just think of Jarwin as a 6’5″, 250-pound headache (literally) for defensive backs. The article had a solid Green Bay comp for Jarwin and how the Packers used him as well.

Pokes are adding former LSU wideout Dee Anderson, a big-bodied receiver that will be immediately eligible

• If the Pac-12 ends up playing a spring football season and that kills off the OSU-OSU series, who would be a fun opponent for Oklahoma State?

1. Alabama (supposed to play USC): Oklahoma State has won 100 percent of the football games it has played against Alabama. Look it up.
2. Michigan (Washington): Whoooo buddy, this would be a great one and one Oklahoma State could actually win it. If I had to pick between the two, I’d probably pick Michigan over Bama. And if Alabama and TCU end up playing, Michigan-Oklahoma State is the other obvious “these are two quality programs and would be a terrific game” matchup.
3. UNLV (California on Aug. 29): The Kasey Dunn Bowl would be tasty.
4. BYU (Utah): Where do I sign for a BYU basketball-football multi-year series? [PFB]

I’ll bump BYU -> three spot and be significantly more excited about any of those than Oregon State.
