OSU Bullets

OSU released the conference schedule for Cowboy Basketball this winter – non-conference play is out there too, hit the link to see both

• I usually agree with this writer at the TulsaWorld but holding OU and Texas until 2025 is a win for the Big 12 – both for OSU and the rest of the “Irate 8”. Realistically, they buy out their rights at some point before then.

• This is an encouraging sign for the Pokes as they move forward in the post-OU/Texas era – it’s likely to retain Sugar Bowl rights and a warm relationship with the SEC.

Heck, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Big 12 retains its Sugar Bowl partnership with the Southeastern Conference. The leagues basically own the Sugar Bowl jointly. With the Big Ten/Atlantic Coast/Pac-12 Alliance recently formed mostly as a middle finger to the SEC, the SEC has reasons to keep the Big 12 viable. Everybody needs allies.

• Pretty cool – Elite Eight hero and Cowboy legend John Lucas III landed a gig as an assistant coach with the LA Lakers

• Malcolm Rodriguez is leading the country in tackles

Spencer Sanders, KHP, and more talk about the upcoming Boise State game

• John Smith is getting after it with the new wrestling locker room:

• What an incredible baseball facility the Pokes have.

Pretty cool map showing a dot where everybody in the US lives

“Instead of feeling that you’ve blown the day and thinking, ‘I’ll get back on track tomorrow,’ try thinking of each day as a set of four quarters: morning, midday, afternoon, evening. If you blow one quarter, you get back on track for the next quarter. Fail small, not big.”
