OSU Bullets
• Is it reasonable to say Eric Morris should be able to figure out the offense with his background?
I’m going to assume OSU still improves drastically over last season’s awfulness (the Cowboys were 1-11 and 121st in SP+), but the offense, and especially the O-line, is a major work in progress. [ESPN]
Cowgirl Softball landed a top-100 recruit for the 2027 class (Yahoo Sports) • College sports writer (not an OSU fan) talked about how expectations for OSU to pull a Curt Cignetti was too much to expect with massive roster turnover.
The reality is that Oklahoma State has 91 new players on its roster this season. It was unrealistic to expect Morris to immediately turn a program riding a now-21-game losing streak to FBS teams into a conference contender while replacing 90% of the roster. It’s the Cignettification of college football that produced those expectations. [Open for Business]
