Dax Hill, brother of OSU star running back Justice Hill, added to a line of misses Oklahoma State has had on younger brothers when Hill committed to Michigan on Tuesday.

Hill, a five-star safety from Tulsa, chose to leave Oklahoma to wear maize and blue.

Last season, the Cowboys missed out on Caden Sterns, a five-star prospect and younger brother of former OSU safety Jordan Sterns.

In 2017, the OSU didn’t get Logan Rudolph, a four-star linebacker and brother of All-American quarterback Mason Rudolph, and the Cowboys missed on Damion Daniels, a three-star defensive tackle and Darrion Daniels’ brother.

Logan Rudolph, stayed close to home, enrolling at Clemson. He played in two games as a freshman before his season was cut short because of injury.

Caden Sterns also stayed in in his home state. Sterns, who was the No. 1 prospect in Texas last year, has started in Texas’ first three games this season and has already made an early impact. He grabbed his first career interception during the Longhorns’ win over Tulsa in Week 2 and blocked a USC field goal attempt that was returned for a back-breaking touchdown during last week’s upset win.

Daniels went through Oklahoma on his way to from Texas to Nebraska. After redshirting in 2017, Daniels has played in the Cornhuskers two games this season.

OSU even offered in-state tight end Charlie Kolar, younger brother of OSU quarterback John Kolar, before Charlie went to Iowa State.

That’s not to say OSU is missing out on all of the siblings. In its 2019 class, OSU has commits from three-star defensive end Kody Walterscheid, brother of Cole Walterscheid, and three-star athlete Thomas Harper, brother of linebacker Devin Harper. Those two aren’t as revered as prospects as the others, though.

OSU also managed to get twins Tylan and Tracin Wallace on campus together. Both were solid gets.
