Dez Bryant Says He Was Pulled Over (And Let Go) Once for Going 180 MPH
Life as a professional athlete isn’t always glory and fame off the playing field, but it sure does have its perks as Dez Bryant has apparently realized.
In an interview shortly after meeting the Indy 500 winner this weekend, Bryant was quizzed about car-related questions in his own life, which lead to the question everyone wanted to know but was scared to ask: What’s the fastest you have ever driven?
“Back in my heydays,” Bryant said, “I’m gonna do it. I don’t care. I don’t do it anymore … but when I first got my license, I got it suspended for a year because I was going a little bit too fast. The fastest I have been .. probably about 180.”
WHEN YOU FIRST GOT YOUR LICENSE YOU WENT 180?! My first car was a Honda Civic and I know personally that thing wouldn’t go over 100 without shaking a couple lugnuts loose. But wait, who drives a Bentley as a new driver?
“Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey move on I gave you all some good info now,” Bryant responded after he was asked about the Bentley.
Bryant says he was eventually pulled over after the officer had to turn his lights off and sneak up on him for his stunt but got off with a warning because “the cop thought it was pretty cool.”
What a story.
