Episode 3 Recap of ESPN+ Documentary ‘Our Time: Oklahoma State Football’
A look behind the scenes of Ep. 3.

The third episode of the ESPN+ documentary that’s following Oklahoma State this preseason, entitled ‘Our Time: Oklahoma State Football,’ debuted on Thursday morning. The episode was the shortest of the docuseries to date at just under 13 minutes, which took us behind the scenes of camp and gave us some good insight on Kasey Dunn, the players’ mindset and more. Below are the highlights. (Spoiler alert ahead.)
Episode 1 recap | Episode 2 recap
• Kasey Dunn remains the most likable coach on the staff. So loose and casual yet so relatable and so demanding. Just the perfect mix of charisma and spunk and quirkiness, with some great one-liners included in this episode led by, “HOLD YOUR WATER!” (Presumably not figuratively.)
• Says Dunn: “Chuba’s a hell of a player. Tylan’s a hell of a player. Spencer’s a hell of a player. Our players are talented enough to make the plays work.”
• Chuba says he’s confident OSU will play, but he’s not confident about when. “I know we’ll play. I just don’t know when, that’s the thing.”
• Peep that front line of stars with Braydon Johnson, Tylan Wallace, Chuba Hubbard, Landon Wolf … and right in front of Robert Glass: Langston Anderson.
• OSU deputy AD Chad Weiberg on the season: “There’s a likelihood that there are going to be cancellations as we go through the season.”
• Shouts to PFB sponsor Chris’ University Spirit. Y’all go show them some love here and buy a shirt or a mask or something sick from their store.
• Chills.
• That flow. “We’re taking the healthy ones, and we’re going full speed. We’re not training our guys to go half speed.”
• Amen Ogbongbemiga after recovering from COVID-19: “I’m good man. Been a long last few weeks. Lot of stress. It was just a crazy two weeks. I was asymptomatic and I thought it would be fine, but it caught up to me. Craziest thing to me was my loss of taste and smell. I would cook chicken and all I taste is salt.”
• Look, I know you can’t judge a team’s potential based off vibes. But the vibes, folks, they are good. KHP nearly picked Spencer, and here they are chopping it up after the play. Spencer: “I scouted your a$$.”
KHP: “Nah when you did this, I said ‘stupid a$$!”
• Gundy: “We’re not for sure when the first game is. We’re not for sure when conference is. I’ve been in college football since 1986. This is the most unusual by far with everything going on. We don’t even know when our games are. It’s crazy.”
• Tyrese Williams. Remember the name. A very good football player (and a potential starter in short order.)
• Gundy with a strong message to close: “If you want to play football, and you want our team to play, you have to have respect for everybody on this team. You have to do your job when you leave here in order to protect the team.”
