ESPN Names Oklahoma State Most Binge-Worthy Team in 2017

Oklahoma State’s preseason accolades have been rolling in of late — from SI picking the Pokes as a CFP team, to Mason Rudolph gracing the cover, to now ESPN hopping aboard by dubbing them as the most “binge-worthy” team in the sport.

In an unofficial eye test list released by The Worldwide Leader that factors in the Finebaum Factor, the Cage Factor, the Spurrier Factor, Corso Factor and Freeze Factor, it was the Pokes who finished No. 1 because of the high-flying offense it brings into the season.

Yes, you’re reading this right. With one of the country’s best quarterbacks (Mason Rudolph) and best wide receivers (James Washington) leading a high-flying offense, and their mullet-wearing, rattlesnake-hunting head coach running the show, the Cowboys are the most entertaining team to watch in college football. And, if Mike Gundy screws it up, OSU billionaire booster T. Boone Pickens won’t be afraid to tell us all about it. [ESPN]

That’s uh … wildly ack-rut, although I’m skeptical of any list that features “entertaining” and “LSU” in the same article (or three Big Ten teams).

OSU features a freakish group of wide receivers led by Washington, a preseason Heisman candidate in Mason Rudolph, a Freshman All-American tailback in Justice Hill, and enough young weapons in the backfield to provide fireworks in between. Did I mention Tyron Johnson is eligible?

All that should add up for one heck of a season. And while there’s nothing guaranteed in the way of hardware, I can guarantee this team will be fun to watch from opening to kick to final whistle every game.
