Four-Star Guard Layden Blocker Includes Oklahoma State in Top 7
Blocker is considering three Big 12 schools and four others.
Layden Blocker might be in the 2023 class, but he is already trimming his list of potential suitors.
Blocker cut his list to seven schools Sunday: Oklahoma State, Memphis, Baylor, Kansas, Gonzaga, Auburn and Arkansas. Blocker is a four-star point guard who OSU offered in July.
According to the composite rankings, Blocker is the No. 95 player in the 2023 class, but 247Sports is quite a bit higher on him, listing him as the No. 34 player in his class.
Blocker plays for Sunrise Christian in Bel Aire, Kansas, which is just north of Wichita. He is originally from Maumelle, Arkansas, which is north of Little Rock.
Listed at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Blocker also has offers from Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.
