Series History

These teams first met in 1914, where Oklahoma State dominated with a 60-0 victory.

The Cowboys’ next win against the Bears wouldn’t come until 1972, with Baylor going 9-0 in the series from 1915 to 1942. Aside from playing in Waco and Stillwater, these teams have also met in Wichita Falls (1938), Oklahoma City (1942) and in Houston (1983).

The Bears joined the Big 12 in 1996 and were bottom feeders in the conference for a long time. From 1996 to 2011, the Cowboys were 15-1 against the Bears, with the only loss coming in 2005, Mike Gundy’s first season.

Things have gotten more competitive as of late, though, as OSU is just 4-6 against Baylor in the teams’ past 10 meetings.
