Gundy Goes on SportsCenter: AM to Talk Mullets, Snakes and Sinor

Mike Gundy made his ESPN Car Wash debut on Thursday evening with Kenny Mayne and Berry Melrose which was great. He continued making the rounds on Friday morning on SportsCenter where he was asked more about the mullet, his snake expeditions and Zach Sinor’s Heisman campaign.
My favorite thing Gundy said is something I’ve been meaning to write about as it relates to Big 12 Media Days — OSU is fun (and maybe good) because Gundy doesn’t promote a culture where people take themselves too seriously.
“I think what’s interesting, and a lot of with our team is you gotta have fun,” said Gundy. “There’s a lot of pressure to win, but these guys are having fun. It takes the Zachs and of course the Mason Rudolphs and Washingtons. But you gotta have everybody and have fun. And that’s what we do at Oklahoma State.”
On to the next pit stop in Bristol, which is a 9:25 a.m. appearance on First Take.
