A big thanks to everyone for reading this blog and most of all to the people out there who fight for our ability to write, talk, and enjoy freely the pleasures of sport. We often take these games way too seriously and days like today remind me that in ten months nobody will care what Justin Blackmon did on a Saturday night against Missouri in 2011.
Nevertheless, I’m grateful for (and don’t take lightly) the freedom I have to disclose my opinions, my thoughts. Many people, millions of our ancestors, never had the platform for such things. So thank you, America, for the megaphone. I’ll never take it for granted.
