Junior College Defensive Back Carrington Pierce Commits to Oklahoma State
The Cowboys add a ball hawk with loads of potential.
The Cowboys continue to fill out their roster, this time with a sought-after DB from the junior college ranks.
Carrington Pierce, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back from Chaffey College, announced his pledge to Oklahoma State on Monday.

He may be taking a step up in competition, but Pierce was not without suitors. The Cowboys had to beat out 16 other schools, including the likes of UCLA, Nebraska, Boise State and Kansas, for Pierce’s services.
In his one season at Chaffey, Pierce was productive and dispossessing. He racked up 24 total tackles (14 solo), logged six pass breakups and pulled in three interceptions. The scary thing — for opposing QBs — is that Pierce didn’t start playing football until last year.
He was an all-league hooper but didn’t make the transition from the hardwood to the turf until he got to Chaffey. By midseason that first year, he had garnered interest from around the country. Now, he’ll get a chance to develop all that raw talent at the power conference level under a revitalized defense staff.
OSU now has eight commitments for its secondary for 2025 with high school recruits Draden Fullbright, Ayden Webb, Kobi Foreman and Jotavion Pierce, as well as Chase Pinkston, another junior college transfer, and transfers Mordecai McDaniel and JK Johnson.
