Michael Weathers’ Monday Court Hearing Moved to Tuesday
One of OSU’s stars will be back at court on Tuesday.
Suspended Oklahoma State basketball player Michael Weathers was originally scheduled to appear in court Monday morning, but he will now appear at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to court records.
A motion to dismiss Weathers’ felony grand larceny charge was filed Friday, according to court records. On Thursday, a misdemeanor charge of knowingly concealing stolen property was filed against Weathers. The Oklahoman‘s Nathan Ruiz was the first to report on the matter.
The hearing is being moved because of a scheduling conflict, according to records.
Weathers has been suspended from the basketball team since September, but he is expected to rejoin the team this season.
With Michael Weathers' next appearance in court set for tomorrow morning, Boynton isn't sure whether he'll play for #okstate at Charlotte. Wants legal process to be sorted out before saying anything definitive: "He's a guy that if everything goes well, we hope to have back."
