Oklahoma State Adds Transfer Portal’s Top Player in Audi Crooks
When the season ended, the Cowgirls seemed like the latest victim of the transfer portal. Now, it seems like Jacie Hoyt might be running the whole operation following her latest win.
Late Sunday night, On3’s Talia Goodman reported that Iowa State star Audi Crooks committed to Oklahoma State.
Hoyt has been nothing but complimentary of Crooks in the past, describing her as “one of the best players” in the country earlier this year. CBS Sports ranks her at the top option in the transfer portal which gives the Cowgirls both of the top two portal players in the nation.
Somehow that might be underselling her. Crooks is a three-time unanimous first-team selection in the Big 12 and was named an AP Second Team All-American (2026), AP Third Team All-American (2025) and AP Honorable Mention All-American (2024) in her last three seasons.
She finished this season No. 2 nationally in points per game with 25.8 while shooting 64.9% from the floor which also ranked second nationally.
Crooks finished with 12 double-doubles this season alone, bringing her career total to 30.
The former Iowa State start is the sixth player OSU has landed in the portal this offseason joining Rutgers breakout Nene Ndiaye, No. 2 portal prospect Liv McGill, D-II Player of the Year Talexa Weeter, sharpshooter Ellie Brueggemann and former five-star prospect LA Sneed.
