It looks like the Cowboys are after another receiver for their 2026 class.
It looks as if the Cowboys are after another receiver for their 2026 recruiting class.
Matthew McClain, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver out of Plano, Texas, announced an Oklahoma State offer on Thursday, the same day the Cowboys offered a Tulsa receiver commit.
Blessed to receive an offer to play football at the next level with the Oklahoma State University football family!
Thank you @coachtheronaych,@Josh_Gonzales2 and @david6glidden. I appreciate this great opportunity!

OSU joins the likes of Washington State, Rice, North Texas, UTEP, Utah State and others to offer McClain. He has taken official visits to Washington State and Rice.
McClain plays both sides of the ball at Prestonwood Christian. He caught 59 passes for 1.482 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior this past season while also recording 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions and a forced fumble as a defender. His Prestonwood Christian Lions went 9-3 in 2024, making it to the quarterfinals of the TAPPS Division I state playoffs before falling to eventual runner up Parish Episcopal by six points. He also plays basketball at Prestonwood Christian.
Among the baker’s dozen of commitments in the Cowboys’ 2026 class, Jabarie Thornton is the only receiver. OSU’s class ranks 32nd nationally and fourth in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.
