Oklahoma State Offers Consensus Four-Star Prospect Efeosa Oliogu
Oliogu tore it up for Team Canada this summer.
Steve Lutz and his staff have been active in the 2025 recruiting class this summer, a trend that continued this week.
Efeosa Oliogu on Monday announced that he had received an Oklahoma State offer. Listed at 6-foot-6, 218 pounds, Oliogu is a consensus four-star prospect who is ranked 82nd in 247Sports’ Composite ranking for the 2025 class.

The Cowboys join the likes of Maryland, Missouri, Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, TCU, Texas Tech and others that have offered. 247Sports, On3, ESPN and Rivals all deem him a four-star prospect, with Rivals being the highest on him compared to his classmates, listing Oliogu as the No. 43 player in the class.
Out of Markham, Ontario, Canada, Oliogu played with the City Reapers in the Overtime Elite League this past season, averaging 8.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists a game in the regular season.
He played this summer with Team Canada at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup, where the Canadians earned bronze. In six games there, he averaged 10.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists a contest while shooting 86% from the foul line and 46% from 3-point range. His best game of the tournament came in the bronze-medal match against the Dominican Republic, where Oliogu erupted for 23 points on 9-for-11 scoring — going 2-for-2 from 3 and 3-for-4 from the stripe. He had seven assists in that game.
He also took part in the FIBA U16 Americas Championship in 2021, where he averaged 12.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game in six games.
Steve Lutz and his staff have hit the recruiting trail hard this summer but have yet to land a 2025 commit. They do, though, have a commit left over from the Mike Boynton era, as Oklahoman Carlsheon Young told PFB last month that he is sticking with his OSU commitment through the coaching change. OSU has also appeared on many top lists lately — like for Christian Jeffrey, Kelvin Odih, Kareem Stagg and Omari Witherspoon.
