Big 12 in the Polls

OSU’s upcoming opponent, Kansas State fell from 16 in both rankings all the way out of the top 25 following a throttling by West Virginia. Iowa State beat up on Kansas and saw a six-spot rise in the AP Poll and a five-spot improvement according to the coaches.

All three teams now sit with one conference loss adding even more weight to this weekend’s game in Manhattan. OSU already owns the tie-breaker over ISU.

Lurking just below them in the conference standings, the two-loss Sooners climbed five spots in both rankings to 19 after shellacking Texas Tech 62-28 on a not-so-scary trip to Lubbock.
