OSU Gets 5th Commitment of June from OL Dylan Galloway
OSU picked up it’s 11th commitment in the 2016 class on Monday afternoon.
June has already been very kind to OSU on the recruiting trail, and on Monday things got even better. The Cowboys grabbed verbal commitment No. 11 when offensive lineman Dylan Galloway announced his decision on Twitter.
After discussing with my family and my coaches I've decided to commit to Oklahoma State University #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/tT8097w5iW

According to 247sports, Galloway is a three-star prospect who also has offers from UTSA, Nevada, and Arkansas State. Tulsa World’s Mark Cooper pointed out that Galloway was the sixth man in the rotation last season for Coppell, Texas. With senior experience up front last season, Galloway saw some action in the rotation and filled in at guard after injuries occurred.
Because of Galloway’s limited exposure, he has been a very well kept secret in Texas. Like several committed prospects in the 2016 class, Galloway appears to be an under-the-radar recruit who hasn’t necessarily been a coveted recruit. Not yet anyway. But that doesn’t mean he can’t play. At 6-foot-1, and 271 pounds, he is still growing into his frame and will get his senior season to likely gain ample starting experience. He projects to be an offensive tackle or guard by the time he sets foot in Stillwater.
Coppell’s head coach Mike DeWitt told Mark Cooper that his wingspan is nearly 7 feet – an excellent quality for an offensive lineman who will need to use their length to take advantage of opponents. It’s too early to tell, but it appears the Cowboys may have scooped up a diamond in the rough.
Galloway’s commitment is the fifth in June and the second offensive line prospect, joining Topeka, KS prospect Teven Jenkins. Take a full look at the commitment list and the prospect’s rankings here.
