OSU Recruiting: Cowboys Offer Baylor OL Pledge Ty’kieast Crawford
Josh Henson has his eye on a big-time Texas talent.
Oklahoma State is looking to poach a rising offensive tackle prospect from Carthage, Texas, who is currently committed to the Baylor Bears.
The Cowboys made their move Thursday night with an offer to Class of 2020 offensive line talent Ty’kieast Crawford. He is a three-star prospect who verbally committed to the Bears back in July.
Since Crawford’s commitment, however, his recruitment has only taken off. Arkansas, Missouri, SMU and Oklahoma State have offered since his pledge, and more are likely on the way after a stellar junior season.
For now, though, he’s all about Baylor.
“I like the intensity, I like the fans, really everything,” Crawford told TexasFootball.com on Thursday. “I like the coaches a lot. I love the facilities.”
Earlier in the day, OSU extended an offer to another 2020 talent in Javion Cohen out of Phenix City, Alabama. They join an already long list of offensive tackle offers in 2020, of which includes four-star in-state star Eli Russ who committed to the Cowboys back in April.
