After an exciting week elsewhere around college football, Oklahoma State remained static in both major polls following a bye.

The Cowboys are ranked 12th in this week’s AP Top 25 as well as the AFCA Coaches Poll. They climbed to No. 12 in both polls last week after their win over Baylor.

Here’s a look at the AP Week 7 ranking.

The only ranked Big 12 teams in action on Saturday were Oklahoma and Texas, and the Red River Showdown lived up to its name. Oklahoma ultimately came out the winner thanks to Kennedy Brooks’ last-second touchdown run to answer a late UT tying score.

The rivalry game resulted in Oklahoma moving up two spots to No. 4 and Texas sliding to No. 25, meaning this weekend’s matchup in Austin will be a ranked-on-ranked affair with OSU. The Longhorns fell out of the coaches ranking.

Future Big 12ers Cincinnati and BYU remain in the rankings with the Bearcats moving to No. 3 after mauling Temple 52-zip. BYU dropped from 10th to 19th after taking one on the chin from Boise State.
