Oklahoma State finally landed its first player from the transfer porta,l but Mike Boynton & Co. are still on the hunt.

Former East Carolina guard Javon Small committed to Oklahoma State on Sunday. But just hours earlier, college hoops inside Jon Rothstein reported that the Pokes have shown interest in USC transfer Tre White. And that came just two days after OSU was named a suitor for Oregon State transfer Glenn Taylor Jr. Plus, last week it was reported that Butler transfer Simas Lukosius took a visit to Stillwater.

Let’s update our list of portal players of interest and take a peek at the three new additions.

Simas Lukosius

Out of Lithuania, Simas Lukosius just finished his sophomore season at Butler where he averaged 11.6 points and game while shooting 38% from 3-point range.

Listed at 6-foot-7, Lukosius has the ability to go off, like when he put up 28 in a win against Villanova this past season. He went 5-for-8 from 3 in that game.

Tre White

White was the No. 50 overall player in the 2022 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings, and received an offer from OSU as a high schooler. After originally committing to Kansas, White landed at USC where he started 29 of 33 games last season.

At 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, the Cowboys could definitely use his size and talent after losing four players of 6-7 or taller via the portal this offseason. White brings scoring and rebounding after averaging 9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 47% from the floor.

Glenn Taylor Jr.

Taylor is the No. 17-ranked uncommitted player in the portal, according to 247Sports. The four-star small forward holds a 247 Composite ranking of 0.910.

Taylor would also fill a big hole for the Pokes. A veteran at 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, Taylor could also fill that immediate role for the Cowboys down low. Last year he averaged 11.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game and he also logged a foul rate that ranked 170th nationally, just a tick under OSU’s fouls-drawn leader last year, Avery Anderson.
