OSU Wrestling: Two-Time Missouri State Finalist Devon Harrison Commits to Cowboys
David Taylor’s first class is up to five.
David Taylor continues to add to his first recruiting class.
Devon Harrison announced Tuesday he committed to Oklahoma State, putting the Cowboys at five known commits for their 2025 class. Of the five pledges, Harrison is the first that is not an in-state product.
Harrison is a two-time state finalist from Liberty High School in Missouri, which has won the past two team state titles in class 4. Harrison finished second at 126 pounds in class 4 this past season. He lost in the 113-pound final in 2023. Harrison is also a Fargo All-American and Ironman placer.
Harrison is OSU’s second high school pledge within the past week. Edmond North’s Kody Routledge was the first high school commit since Taylor replaced John Smith as head coach. Routledge flipped his commitment from Nebraska to the Cowboys last week.
The 2025 class is headlined by No. 3 pound-for-pound recruit LaDarion Lockett from Stillwater. It also includes three-time state champion Kruz Goff from Blackwell and Tuttle’s Beau Hickman.
